Job Description

Lead deal origination, relationship management, and transaction execution across Southeast Asian technology markets from our Singapore office.

Responsibilities

  • Originate and manage deal pipeline across ASEAN technology markets
  • Lead preliminary due diligence and target company assessments
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology founders, venture capital firms, and advisors across the region
  • Structure and negotiate term sheets and definitive agreements
  • Coordinate cross-border regulatory and legal workstreams

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in M&A, private equity, or corporate development in Asia
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing transactions in Southeast Asian markets
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Strong network within the ASEAN technology and investment ecosystem
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin, Bahasa, or other ASEAN languages a plus

About the Role

Aetherium Acquisition Corp is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development to lead our deal origination and execution efforts from our Singapore office. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, with responsibility for building and managing the firm’s pipeline of prospective merger targets across Southeast Asia’s technology sector.

What You Will Do

You will serve as Aetherium’s primary on-the-ground deal professional in the region, identifying compelling technology companies, building relationships with founders and their advisors, and leading the firm’s due diligence and transaction negotiation processes. This role requires a unique combination of financial acumen, regional expertise, and relationship management capability.
